Desain dan Implementasi Robot Omniwheel untuk Kompetisi Robotika di ASEAN Skill Competition (ASC)
Abstract
This study discusses the design and implementation of an omniwheel robot for use in the ASEAN Skill Competition, particularly in the robotics category. The omniwheel robot was selected due to its high maneuverability, allowing for precise lateral, diagonal, and rotational movements compared to conventional wheel systems. The development process involved mechanical design, integration of electronic components, and the implementation of a microcontroller-based control system. Testing was conducted in simulations and real-world environments that replicated competition challenges. Results demonstrated the robot’s superior maneuverability, quick response times, and adaptability to competitive environments. These findings indicate that the use of omniwheel technology can offer a competitive advantage in robotics scenarios, particularly for precise navigation in confined spaces
