Abstract

Cars have become one of the main modes of transportation in everyday life due to their comfort and practicality. With the increasing use of electric vehicles, monitoring battery capacity has become crucial. In this system, a voltage divider resistor is used to reduce the voltage from the electric vehicle's battery, initially at 58 V DC, down to 5 V DC. This allows the ADS1015 module to accurately read the voltage through a series circuit. The ADS1015 plays a role in converting analog signals into digital, enabling the NodeMCU ESP8266 to process and send data to various components. Testing is conducted over five cycles to monitor the battery capacity as specified. Additionally, the power supply for the ADS1015 module, SSR relay, and 16x2 LCD can be sourced from the 5 V DC output of the NodeMCU. The NodeMCU ESP8266 demonstrated reliable performance, maintaining a stable connection while connected to the internet. Throughout the study, the average voltage discrepancy displayed on the Blynk application was only 0.74%, indicating a high level of accuracy in the voltage readings. With this device, electric vehicle drivers can more easily monitor their battery condition, reducing the risk of sudden power loss. Information about battery percentage provides users with comfort and peace of mind, allowing for smoother journeys without the worry of unexpectedly running out of power on the road. This innovation is essential to support the growing popularity of electric vehicles.
