Perbandingan Ekonomis Pembangunan Perahu Fiberglass dan Kayu (Studi Kasus: Perahu Pompong Sungai Wampu)

Abstract

Fishing boats or fishing boats are boats with trap fishing gear on the Wampu River made of wood, but with land conversion, the boat was redesigned using fiberglass material. This study used the Holtrof method with a monohull hull having a displacement of 0.8707 tons and an engine power of 15 hp with a speed of 9.5 knots. Determination of the main data of the ship based on the amount of cargo with, LPP = 7.02 meters, B = 1.27 meters and H = 1.08 meters. This research has a manufacturing cost of Rp. 29,486,552.16 and a wooden boat costs Rp. 19,405,000.00 to manufacture. Making boats made of fiberglass has a higher cost than wood, but wood material is heavier than fiberglass material. In addition, fiberglass is printed so that in making boats the same type is made in the second, third, and so on, only lamination without the need to re-mould, and durable and strong fiberglass material.
