Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential of techer-preneurs at SMKS KORPRI Duri, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. This study aims to describe the potential of teacher-preneurs at SMKS KORPRI DURI. This research was conducted at SMKS KORPRI-Duri, Bengkalis Regency with the research subject being Productive subject teachers, totaling 15 people. The research data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively with the following stages of analysis: (1) the data from the interviews were categorized according to the order of the questions; (2) almost the same answers are grouped into one theme; (3) reports on the results of several answers that are the same or almost the same are only represented by one answer; (4) answers that are unique and need further explanation are then explored through telephone interviews. The results showed that the Korpri Duri Vocational School teacher had the potential as a teacherpreneur to find and develop technological works, create learning tools, especially practicum subjects, develop learning models and strategies, write teaching materials, conduct research, self-development, problem solving learning, character building. positive students. The application of the teacherpreneur concept in the social aspect, through indicators of activity in teacher professional organizations (PGRI, MGMP) and social communities has a close relationship to teacher motivation.
