Abstract

UAV has various functions that can be applied according to the flying mission. Mapping using UAV is one of the uses of the right technology to be applied. This project discusses the control system on a fixed wing UAV with a V-tail configuration that is capable of autonomus mapping. The method used to mapping is photogrammetry. To achieve this, it is necessary to determine the design of the control system and the required specifications. The components need to be arranged to achieve the planned flight mission and also made to take aerial photography at a predetermined distance. Flight controller setup is done with the Mission Planner software. The mission is to mapping with 12m/s velocity at 100 m altitude. Tests are carried out to ensure the function of components and get the appropriate response. Mapping with fixed-wing UAVs has not been able to be carried out due to Covid-19 Pandemic, so that image data collection is carried out using the DJI Spark Drone in the Tanimulya Village area, West Bandung that flies manually at an altitude of 100 m. The area mapped is 109,590.6 m2. The image is processed in the Agisoft Metashape image processing software into a two-dimensional map
