Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) Berbasis Website

Abstract

Admission of new students is one of the processes that exist in educational institutions such as schools. The New Student Admissions Process (PSB) at SMKN 2 Bengkalis still uses a conventional system, so that prospective students sometimes have difficulty getting information to carry out the registration process. The registration process also tends to be slow, because the data has not been integrated and managed properly. This process also still uses archives in physical form which are prone to damage or even loss. To be able to overcome the problems that occur in the registration of new students at Bengkalis 2 Vocational School, a Website-Based New Student Acceptance Application Design is made. The end result of the design and development of this application is a website that can provide easy access to information and the registration process so that the process of admitting new students becomes more effective and efficient.
