Analisis Produksi Pabrik Es Pada Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Kota Dumai Provinsi Riau

Abstract

The Dumai City Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) is the only fishing port that is directly managed by the Riau Provincial Government which was previously managed by the Dumai City Government. The fishermen who dock at the Dumai City UPT come from Dumai City and its surroundings, such as Rupat Island, and some fishermen come from Sinaboi (Rokan Hilir). This study aims to analyze the number of requests, production costs, and sales of ice blocks sold and produced at the Dumai Fishery Port UPT. The method used in this research is a survey, by conducting observations, interviews and mathematical calculations. The availability of ice as a cooling material that maintains the quality of fishermen's catches, the amount of material in each production, the amount of production in one day and the ability to produce ice at the Dumai Fishery Port. The production cost in 2019 is Rp. 668,351,530 sourced from the 2019 APBD, with a basic cost of Rp. 6,423,200 in each production, including raw materials, sales and maintenance. The use of raw material for non-iodized salt with a rotating wheel brand as the main ingredient in each production is 15-17 sacks with a weight of 1 sack of 50 kg of salt. The price of 1 kg of salt is Rp. 6.500/kg. To get the Breakeven Point of Production (TIP), the number of ice blocks produced in a year is 50,400 sticks, with a total income of Rp. 1,260,000,000 per year. For the production of ice blocks in 2019 as many as 18,771 sticks with a total income of Rp. 469,275,000. Using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value obtained 13% which is not yet effective according to the OEE standard at 85%.
