Abstract

Three-phase transformer Open-Delta connection is a special winding connection in three-phase transformers. Open-Delta winding connection is done if the Delta connection transformer one of the windings is damaged or if the load carried is too small. The value of current (I0) and core losses (P0) without load is influenced by the value of voltage (V0), where the greater V0 the greater I0 and P0. the value of current (Ihs) and short-circuit losses (Phs) is influenced by the value of the voltage (V1), where the greater V1 the greater the Ihs and Phs. by increasing the load current in the load test, the losses and efficiency are greater. Efficiency in balanced load testing is 93.5% greater than the efficiency of unbalanced load testing of 91.69% because the output power of the unbalanced load transformer will absorb more power. Losses in the balanced load test are 68 Watts less than the losses in the unbalanced load test. 100 Watt
