Abstract

Motor vehicles are one of the important needs for the community. However, when there is a tire leak will do the patching of the nearest motorcycle repair shop. But what happens in the workshop where the tire patch is currently still using conventional heating, namely the level of heat and pressure produced by the tire patch tool is unstable and the time needed in the patching process is relatively longer and must be monitored so that the tire does not melt if the heat is excessive, which causes the rubber of tires that have been given glue can not fuse strongly,so that the patch will easily come off and as a result the tire will leak back so that it is less effective and still feels bad for the tire handler. Therefore, an automatic tire support device is made equipped with a temperature detection sensor that is a thermocouple sensor that is when it has reached a predetermined temperature so that the heating element to attach the tire will die by itself and if the temperature exceeds the limit then the data from the temperature detection sensor will be sent to android via NodeMCU ESP8266 using the internet network. From the results of the study obtained the result that the temperature for tire patching with the condition of maturity is perfect is in the temperature in the heating element which is 85 °C and the temperature in the sensor is 80 °C with an increase time of 6 minutes, this can be seen from the attachment of glue with the tire and from the attachment itself, and for the usage power tariff for 6 minutes which is Rp.3.620.
