Abstract

A technology was created to provide benefits to humans. One of them is home security system technology. Fire and theft are problems that often occur when it comes to home security. One of the factors that can cause fires and theft in the house is the negligence of the man himself and the delay in handling or prevention. Therefore we need a system that can monitor home security and can provide information on the state of the house through the website and the Telegram messager application as a warning notification medium. The system to be built uses a microcontroller as the main controller, a PIR (Passive Infra Red) sensor as an object movement detector, an MQ-2 sensor as a gas leak detector, and a DHT11 sensor which is used to detect room temperature. Furthermore, the results of sensor readings are in the form of data that will be displayed on the website in real time and sent to the telegram application as a warning notification if the sensor value has been at a predetermined limit. The results show that each sensor can work well, it is proven that the value sent is the same as the value received. The PIR sensor can detect the furthest movement of 17 cm. The MQ-2 sensor can identify gases in an enclosed space above 300 ppm. The DHT11 temperature sensor can detect room temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius.
