DESAIN KAPAL PENYEBERANGAN RUTE BATUBARA – PULAU PANDANG – PULAU SALAH NAMO

Abstract

Pandang Island and Salah Namo Island, Batubara Regency, North Sumatra Province have considerable potential as marine tourism objects to further increase the number of tourist visits, it is necessary to add tourist facilities in the form of ferry boats that are more modern than previous ships that still use traditional ships. In this study, the design of a passenger ship with the main size of the ship is Lpp = 21.06 m, B = 3.57 m, H = 1.14 m, T = 0.54 m, the passenger ship design process is carried out using the Maxsurf software and software AutoCAD and running process to get ship resistance using maxsurf resistance software so that the ship resistance value is 19.20 Kn and stability evaluation is obtained with a GZ value of 0.36 m at an angle of 25 deg.
