Desain Analisa Instalasi Pipa Udara Bertekanan dan Gas O2 di Bengkel Pipa dan Plat Jurusan Teknik Perkapalan

Abstract

Pipe and plate workshop is a workshop engaged in steel construction, which includes marking work, plate and pipe cutting, plate bending, inspection and NDT, as well as being able to design and produce steel construction work. The work carried out in the pipe and plate workshop cannot be separated from the use of compressed air and O₂ gas, therefore, to increase the effectiveness of activities in the workshop, a layout design is carried out by considering the size of the workshop and the available facilities, then proceed with the design of the compressed air and O₂ gas pipe installation system with selection of inch diameter pipe. Evaluation of flow pressure in the pipe installation system using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) software simulation so that the outlet pressure generated in the compressed air installation system is 4.56 bar and the outlet pressure of the O₂ gas installation system is 4.65 kg/cm².
